But RiverArtsFest is more than one weekend.
We are a volunteer-led nonprofit that uses the festival to reinvestment back into the community—to create opportunities for artists, expand access to the arts and bring working artists and arts education into schools and communities throughout Shelby County.
Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area, and local food and beverage concessions including gourmet food trucks. Local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere. This event is organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and volunteer artists. Best of all, it’s entirely free to attend!
This major juried art event features over 160 national artists showcasing paintings, pottery, photography, and sculpture. The 2026 featured artist is Winter Park-based oil painter Robert Ross, whose work "Interior with Daffodils and Persimmons" highlights the festival. Attendees can also enjoy live music, local food vendors, and family-friendly creative activities.

Every dollar raised by this volunteer-run event goes straight back to the community! The Candler Park Neighborhood Organization uses that money to fund critical infrastructure improvements and upgrades to the park itself. We hope to see you

In years past, visitors to Festival in the Park typically exceeded 85,000 each year. However in 2024, it was estimated that 150,000 attended the Festival.
The Buckhead Arts Festival is organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, LLC, and a board of experts in various artistic disciplines, which has a long history of building some of the most notable events in the south with several holding spots in the TOP 100 in the nation. The festival will uphold the highest standards supporting the arts and offer participating artists the environment to nurture an appreciation for their skills.
Inman Park Festival & Tour of Homes takes place in one of Atlanta’s oldest and most scenic neighborhoods. First developed in the late 1800s, Inman Park features an abundance of historic homes and several scenic parks. The Festival began in the early 1970’s as a means to attract attention for revitalization efforts in the community.

The Atlanta Dogwood Festival includes one of the largest and most diverse juried arts festivals in the country. More than 260 artists from around the country exhibit in 12 categories, including painting, glass, clay, wood and mixed media. Some of the country’s top painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craftsmen, glass blowers and more participate in the Atlanta Dogwood Festival Artist Market. In 2018, the Artist Market was ranked #23, out of the Top 200 Best Art Shows in the Country by Sunshine Artist Magazine and #42 of Best Fine Arts Shows from Art Fair Source Book. The Artist Market closes at 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
